Chicago night skyline.  This painting is big and  bold yet also tranquil and intimate.  A series of black buildings threads through the city, uniting  the composition and giving it a quiet strength.  

 A midnight  blue sky sets the mood in this  dramatic painting of the Chicago skyline.  It’s an original, hand painted oil on canvas.  A moon looks over the landmark buildings of the cityscape.  The familiar landmark buildings gather, as if to take in the warm Summer air. The graceful curve of the Hancock building echoes the crescent moon. The city rests on cool green of Chicago’s wonderful Lakefront parks.  A sun peaks above the horizon on the right.

This stretches canvas is 1.5 inches deep.  The staple free sides are painted a deepish gray.  All my paintings are sold on their wooden stretchers, as they were painted.  The back is titled and wired, ready to hang.
