I really like this one. A midnight blue sky sets the mood in this dramatic painting of the Chicago skyline. It’s an original, hand painted oil on canvas. A moon looks over the landmark buildings of the cityscape. The graceful curve of the Hancock building echoes the crescent moon. The rolling clouds mirror the hills. Those hills are almost like the earth, presenting the city in a grand fashion. A sun peaks above the horizon on the right. This painting is big and bold yet also tranquil and intimate. A series of black buildings threads through the city, uniting the composition and am parting it with a quiet strength.
