Obviously, I don't realistic portraits, etc. I have been known to slip specific people and their dogs done my way, into skylines, etc. Pets enter my scenes a lot.

Every step of the process is completely done by hand.
1- The drawings are done freehand on thick watercolor paper. The paper is acid free. The ink is permanent. I then add some acrylic paint for touches of color.
2-The drawing is mounted on a woodblock. The woodblock is a cradled birch panel. I stain the sides a walnut.
3-The drawing and sides of the wood block are brushed with a clear coat. This protects the drawing and also gives it a richly textured surface.
Wood mounted drawings are signed on the drawing itself. They are titles and dated on the back. They can be hung on a wall or rest on a shelf.
