This is a 6x24 oil original painting. The chef hums a tune and gives the egg an extra high flip this morning. The steam dances from a lively stove. The paint is applied thickly, like cake frosting.

Medium: Oil on Wood Panel
This is painted on a cradled birch panel. The panel is 1.5 inches in profile. It makes for a sturdy, ridged painting surface, allowing me to lay the paint in those extra thick strokes. It is stained a neutral walnut. The natural grain of the wood shows nicely. It is wired and ready to hang in your kitchen.
